It’s a list of our favourite source artists, showing the social classes we think they best depict, and the time that the artist was actively producing works of art. Note, this doesn’t mean the clothes that they show are from that same time period, as some artists depict clothing from a generation prior (Quentin Matsys, and the Breugels for instance). But collectively it should give you an idea of where to start looking when planning an outfit from the Low Countries in the 15th or 16th centuries.
